Studio Monitor, speaker repair question.

Post by Old Iron Giant » Sat Jul 18, 2009 6:26 pm

I own a set of UltraLinear Studio Comarator 228's, their about 30+ years old, and age is starting to show.
The 15" inch sub is suffering from age, and the foam around the sub is rotting away.
Id like to know if its possible to repair torn / dry-rotted speaker foam, If so whats the method to do so?

any advice would be appreciated, I'd love to put these monitors to work again :D
