Electrix Vocoder help!!

Post by MPrint » Thu Aug 13, 2009 7:11 pm

So maybe i'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to control my pitch via the source input(god I hope I didn't buy some busted ebay c**p). I have my Prophet running into the Source Input, Mic into the front Formant input, and running out of the effect output of course. I have mic selected because nothing seems to come out when the ess is selected. I can hear the vocoder effect when I talk, but it doesn't change the pitch when I play other notes. I'm relatively new to external vocoders so is there something i'm doing wrong?

Okay so like a dumbass I didn't try turning the Robot Pitch to off so I can change pitch now. However I still can't get the ess setting to work.
