Last week I got a great deal on a Roland SH-2000 at the flea market. Was a little dirty but it cleaned up well and is in great overall condition. I just have one issue with it though. The volume on it is VERY quiet. The only way I can hear anything is when the volume switch on the back set to 'H' (for high) and the volume knob turned all the way up. Any setting less than that makes a whisper or no sound at all.
I don't have an amp, so I'm just using some cheap headphones with a stereo jack adapter. Is that my problem or could it be an issue with the synth?

Re: Low volume on Roland SH-2000
You need amp. My sh-2000 is very quiet even with switch on "H" position when used only with headphones. So it's probably normal.

Thanks for the reply, that's good to know. Was planning on selling it soon, so I was worried that I'd have to dump some money into getting it serviced first.
