...My TG77 was working fine a few months ago. Now only the Multis are working but not the Voices

Anyone have any suggestions for me? Is there anything really obvious I could be doing wrong?

first guess is that either the little switch under the MULTI button is stuck 'on' , or the switch for the regular voice mode is dead. mine (SY-77) did EXACTLY the same thing. stuck in MULTI mode. voice button was filled with some kind of brown gunk and would not make contact.
if you can solder, changing switched (once you get to them !!!) is no great deal.
