So I've had my MKS-50 for about 5 or 6 months and I've taken good care of it (it has been sitting on my rack since I got it and it hasn't been moved), then all the sudden it stopped working. A couple days ago it was working great, then as of yesterday the only sound it will make is a constant popping (almost at a constant pace, like :pop: :pop: :pop: :pop:). It recieves midi fine (or at least paremeters change and the midi message flashes) and all the menus seem to being working fine. I've tried hooking up to the different outputs (phones, TRS output on the back, etc...) with all different cables but all it does is pop.
I was thinking of popping it open but I wanted to see if you guys had any ideas first. If you need any more info, just let me know. Thanks!

Re: MKS-50 stopped making sound
Well, it mysteriously started working again, so I'm happy...what I wanna know is, is this a problem waiting to happen (if you know what I mean)?
Re: MKS-50 stopped making sound
Could well be a dry solder joint or a bad capacitor, both in the 15V section of the power supply...
