Must be your 808. Every 808 I've used, the tempo stays the same regardless of the pattern. Although its a b***h to get an exact tempo using the internal clock with course and fine tempo controls without an LED showing the BPM.
The only thing I think may be an issue, is that you have the patterns set to different time signatures. Although the tempo will be the same, the "feel" may be different.

The 808's internal clock is pretty tight, sounds like yours is experiencing drift of some sort? perhaps it's that midi mod your 808 has. From your previous threads about your 808, you've had a good run of problems with it.
I suggest you clear the 808 of all it's patterns and create 2 or 3 new simple patterns and have a listen, to see if you hear any differences between those 2 or 3 patterns you have created.
