Korg Trident -- How the h**l do you...
I can't for the life of me figure out how to do one of the most simple things, which is --- to get rid of the touch sensitivity on the keys, so theres just the one volume however hard i'm hitting them.
There's nothing specifically about it in the manual, can anyone help???

Yes...and you know, it's the same for the Prophet V, Oberheim OB-X, OB-Xa, OB-8. Matrix 12, Jupiter 8, Memorymoog, etc...
There are not so many vintage analog polyphonic synthesizer with touch sensitivity, or polyphonic aftertouch. But i can understand you very good. Once you tried a Yamaha CS-80, CS-60, Prophet T8, etc... (for the polyphonics) or an ARP Pro Soloist, Roland SH-2000, etc... (with a very smooth action), it's hard to imagine that most of the other vintage synthesizers doesn't have this wonderful expressive feature.

It is much easier to be a good equipment purchaser than to be a great musician.

Wait - it seems that Trident has velocity-sensivity, and OP wants to DISABLE it:

Yeah i want to GET RID of the touch sensitivity, but its a simple command they've made agonisingly cryptic.
Anyone with a Korg Trident????
Anyone with a Korg Trident????
Re: Korg Trident -- How the h**l do you...
Tridents do not have velocity or touch sensitivity (unless I'm seriously missing something.) The only thing I'm thinking that you are referring to is the auto damp which mutes previous notes that you are not holding down after a new note(s) are played, useful when a program has a long release. Try turning that off.

I didn't think they had velocity sensitivity either? You're not talking about a Triton are you?
