Hi guys,
Almost 6 years ago to the day I inherited a Roland System 100. I have 3 or 4 components, 2 of which are definitely model 101. The other two I will confirm later as they are at my office. I just wanted to get the ball rolling on this as I am ready to sell now!
So basically I would like any advice on the price of the models, whether to sell them together, and where is best to sell them!
I will update this this afternoon to confirm which components I have.
Thank you in advance for any response.

This post says to the reader:
"I have a wonderful and unique instrument that I don't know anything about. I would rather have as much money as possible than this instrument. Tell me how much I can have."
Do some homework. Do you have the manuals? Do these instruments function properly? Old electronics go bad, and testing these instruments takes hours. Has a knowledgeable person looked them over?
It's probably best to sell them locally, and this forum is a great way to do that. You'll need to post some pictures and your location. You could take your chances shipping them, but from experience, good luck getting any carrier to pay the insurance on a 30 year old synthesizer if it arrives broken. You'll need to know more before you can ask a fair price but, it's probably few thousand dollars.

Re: Inherited Roland System 100 - HELP!
Hey 05busse, If you have a model 103 mixer I've been looking to buy one for ages to go with my model 101, let me know in case you have got one.
Anyway I think the previous poster had an issue with the way you come across or something 'cause vintage gear gets shipped all the time (and goes for top dollar quite often too) with few troubles providing it's adequately packed that is. And locally is not the best if you want top price, ebay with shipping is. Lets face it most people will want top dollar these days.
So I'll have a guess on reasonable prices (ie. when I write + it means anything over this is a rip-off and probably won't sell) to help you out
Model 101 - $800 to $1100+
Model 102 - $800 to $1200+
Model 103 - $400 to $600+
Model 104 - $1100 to $2000+
Full system - 5k+
Here's a complete system that sold recently on ebay.

Keep in mind condition is a factor (both cosmetically and electrically), and manuals can go for quite a bit too, (as much as $60+ each, so it's worth hunting around if you've got any).
Cheers

In retrospect that was a bit negative, sorry. Those prices are spot on.
