Hi, I've been a lurker here for some time, but this is my first post. I want to know if you can use an expression pedal to control things other than just volume. I want to set it to the filter cutoff. If I could assign EG parameters to it I would be very happy.
thanks,
Bill Graham

Re: MS2000B Expression Pedal assignment question
Doesn't seem possible, at least for the MS2000/R, according to the owner's manual. I dunno about the B though.

Re: MS2000B Expression Pedal assignment question
Can't you set expression pedal to be either the MIDI1 or MIDI1 mod source and then use the virtual patch cords to assign it to something?
edit: OK, had a look at the manual. Go to Global page 6, assign the pedal to Footpdl (CC#4) then go to Global page 3 and assign either D:MIDI1 or E:MIDI2 (depending on if you're already using one of them for something) to CC#4. You can now use whichever one you've changed to CC#4 as a virtual patch source and send it to the filter cutoff or whatever you want.
