I have a jx-3p (which has a step sequencer) and an alpha juno-1 (which does not). Has anyone out there figured out how to hook the two together so that when i start the jx-3p sequence it comes out of the juno? (MIDI blow my mind, so i'm trying to put this in the most primitive, least jargony terms possible.) simple midi-triggering works fine--i can use the jx-3p to play the juno. but when i start the sequencer, nothing comes out of the juno.
thx, mates.
syncing up a jx-3p w an alpha juno-1?

Re: syncing up a jx-3p w an alpha juno-1?
I doubt the JX-3P's sequencer transmits MIDI information and is for the internal voices only, just like the arpeggiators of synths of that time only work with internal voices and are not transmited via MIDI.
