SIEL Expander 80 help

I have one of these in my shop. When powered up it is locked on "2c". I was unable to get it to bring up any other patch. I checked the internal battery and found it was dead. I replaced the battery and still get the "2c" on the display. Is there a way to reinitialize this unit? Or is it just plain broke? I have not been able to find a service manual or schematic for it under either SIEL or Suzuki??? Can anyone help educate me?? Thanks

From what I can gleam a flat battery is 4c not a 2c error

Unfortunatly sold my Expander 80 a few years back
