I have a Digital Music Corp. MX-8 midi patchbay here, but I don't have a power adapter and the case itself gives no indication of the values. Does anyone here have any idea what type of voltage/amperage/polarity that this takes?

mine's been running for years on an 8.5-volt AC generic. The plug is a medium size 0.218 inches.
