im getting an alesis micron as my first keyboard and would like to know the basics of the keyboard or any terms that i may need to know. if you know anything and would like to shar please reply

The manual explains everything, really. It's fairly well-written, and it tells you everything about the keyboard, including a brief explanation of subtractive synthesis.
Other than that there's not much to say. It's a pretty easy keyboard to use, just remember that you'll need some patience to flip through the endless menus. It can be very rewarding; the Micron is a wonderfully powerful keyboard if you really want to play around with programming.
