The samples are the same files I believe, but the keyboard track is often routed to filter res or cutoff to make higher notes sound brighter...such is the case with choir presets, not sure about the flute. Also depends on HOW it is sampled.

Pretty sure they're different samples, played differently from each other.

Pretty much the entire E-Mu sample library can be purchased from
Digital Sound Factory in a few different formats. Yes, Loon Garden is available from them.
