808 / x0xb0x / MPC 2000XL and Doepfer MSY2. Bad Sync!

I want to run the following set up:

Roland TR-808 (No midi fit)
Adafruit x0xb0x
Akai MPC 2000xl

I had them set up using a Doepfer MSY2. So like this:

MPC 2000xl Midi Clock out to Doepfer MSY2 which runs the 808 and x0xb0x in Din sync.

After a few tests it seems that the Midi/Din Sync conversion is pretty rubbish. Every so often I notice the x0xb0x do strange things and the 808 can slip out of time every so often. I've tested just the 808 and x0xb0x on their own with just one Din Sync cable between the two and they are in perfect sync and rock solid so i'm pretty sure its all down to the Doepfer MSY2.

Is there a better product for Midi to Din Sync conversion or another way of setting up the above 3 products?

As there is only one Din sync port on both the 808 and x0xb0x and no Din Sync ports on the MPC i'm not sure how else I can get the 3 products working?

I think you could get the x0x to also work as the DIN sync box?

so go MIDI mpc->x0x, DIN x0x->808.

If you can't figure it out ship me the items, I'll figure it out and *ahem* ship them right back quick pronto

Yeah thanks but I already tried this, somehow sending midi clock from the MPC to the x0xb0x over midi never seems as tight as running it in Din Sync.
