Hi,
My Ds8 ran into a/some problems today, when I push a note in the 4th octave of the keyboard (from the lowest to the highest) it will completely change anything. Patch nr, some of the voice parameters, combi parameters, switching portamento on/off etc.
So, I'm pretty sure that there is a error current somewhere in the cabinet making this mess, because I pulled it apart and it worked fine without the cabinet/shield on. Is there anybody who has tried something like this, and how did you make it go away?

The smaller version, the 707, had a problem with the button-switches on the control panel sticking/failing. maybe that's whats causing it....
