connect different cases of a PAIA 4700

Post by peonytele » Thu Jul 22, 2010 4:51 am

Hello everyone:
Just got the item from analoglsd, really enjoy it
and here is the question, hope some one could have a look, thanks:
the 4700 has 3 cases. When I use some modules in different case, I must connect the cases through ground input on the power supply, to get the modules work, or there is just wrong amp sound. Is this way right?

IIRC, the 4700 uses banana jacks for control signal routing. On any modular that uses banana jacks, yes, you must have a common ground between the cases. So what you are doing is correct.
Switches, knobs, buttons, LEDs, LCD screens, monitors, keys, mice, jacks, sockets. Now two joysticks!
