Re: machinedrum quantization?
Unless there is a way to set a delay/offset for each step, there is no 'off'

Re: machinedrum quantization?
You can't, it either locks to it's own internal tempo or to an external tempo. You can do TAP tempo though.amatsov wrote:can somebody please explain how can I turn quantization off?

Re: machinedrum quantization?
So you want make beats like 3/4 (triplet time etc), FUNCTION+SCALE, then you can alter your scale ie 12/16 for 3/4, and if you have the latest OS in, you can add shuffle, by moving the cursor right to where it say 1x, use the cursor down key to get either 3/4 or 3/2, or up for shuffle 1x or 2x. If that doesn't satisfy your needs, sell your MD and get an MPC.

Re: machinedrum quantization?
for the record that's not turning quantization off, it's changing the time signature..
most step sequencers can't turn off quantization, but most can change the time signature.
