Strange E-mu Emulator II output modification.

Post by Ohm's Law » Fri Oct 08, 2010 2:19 am

Hi,

Had two E-II+HDs for a while.

One has a mystery switch on the disc drive and two extra 1/4" jacks on the back.

Finally opened the modified unit. Attached are some pics.

Ever heard or seen a mod like this? It's fairly in depth!

Trying to figure out what it is / does.

Thanks,

Tim.

Weird, the 2 chips shown are CMOS switches, it will only pass signal if a voltage on another pin goes high.
