MIDI: TETR4, Alpha Juno, AX-60, MP-113 Issues

I have a few small MIDI issues I could use some help with:

When trying to use my Tetr4 with the Alpha Juno or AX-60 as a controller the bank select buttons on the Juno or AX also change the banks on the Tetra... is there any way to stop or block this? I'd like to be able to independently change patches.

Also, I'd like to use my Studio Logic MP-113 foot controller in conjunction with this set-up but I don't seem to have the MIDI connections needed. The AX and the Alpha both have MIDI IN, OUT and THRU... but the MP-113 only has OUT and the Tetra only has IN and OUT (no Thru).

I'd also like to be able to patch up and down and do some complex A-B-Ying for live performance.

Do I need an external MIDI router of some kind to do everything I need? What would be some good performance switching options.

Cheers,
David

I'd guess the Tetra should have a way to ignore incoming Midi program change messages.

For your other issue, you may consider getting a Midi patchbay. I use a Kawai MAV-8, which might be hard to find, but there are others out there. If you wanted to simultaneously transmit from both a keyboard controller and foot controller, you'd need a Midi merger. I use a quad merger made by Midi Solutions.

The Alpha Juno/AX60 are both sending programming changes. You can either turn off the receive on the Tetra or (maybe) turn off programming sends on the keyboards. I don't know if those particular synths allow for it (I've owned both but never had that problem with them). I do know you can do that with most modern synths as I had to do that with both Micron and Microkorg.
