Can someone confirm that if I create a midi track in say Audacity or Garageband that I can then play it out to the Novation X-Station triggering it's internal synth sounds and then then record this audio as I would normally.
At the moment I can record midi and audio either separately or the same time but I can't get the midi track to trigger the X-Station.
I know this might sound stupid but I'm just a fan of hardware tweaking and want top set the novation up soundwise away from a computer and then track the midi and move it so it's perfectly in time and then record the sound that this would play through the Novation
Any help would be greatly appreciated
