anyone know what it could be? thanks. looks mint but wont turn on. maybe a battery issue? may need a new one? not sure if that would make it not turn on? sorry, just guessing here!

Was going to be smarmy and say "Pull out the choke"

Does it use a wall-wart? If so: Correct one? Working? Check that the jack in the back of the TX has not been damaged by being dropped on the plug, or someone pulling sideways on the cord.

Regular AC cord: Open the case up and check for internal fuses blown.

Was it working before, then quit?

Even with a dead battery, the unit would still power up. You would lose your patches and their names would be replaced with odd characters in the display. It's definitely a power issue. Check the fuse first!

aaahhhhh! yes, it's the wall-wart wire. will pick a new one up. somehow it got sliced? thanks.
