Hey all-
this is my first post. I'm not sure if you'll be able to help me, but it's worth a shot.
Is there a way to sync the tempo of the MicroKorg to that of Ableton? So I can use the arpeggiator in the MicroKorg accurately to the beats I make in Ableton or Reason?
Thank you for your help.
Justin

Reason can slave to the MicroKorg clock but not vice versa.
If running Reason standalone (not rewired to Live) set it to recieve external MIDI clock and keep the MicroKorg set to internal clock.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

With Live you need to go into your MIDI settings in Live and make sure that Sync is set to ON for the MIDI OUT device the MK is connected to, and in global settings you need to set the clock to external.
Note that sometimes weird c**p happens with this combination. I've seen my MK freak out while receiving MIDI clock and start playing notes at the wrong pitch. Never figured it out, I went back to using the arpeggiator on the MK and then warping the recorded audio to fit perfectly :/
