Flame Six-In-A-Row

Post by cartesia » Mon Nov 15, 2010 10:50 am

OK... In all seriousness, does anyone here have a clue about how the h**l this thing works?

I tried reading the info on the website.. I tried watching videos of it being used.. I tried watching the tutorial, which didn't help one bit...

It doesn't actually seem to be a sequencer.. but rather.. a midi clip player.. but then. . I have no idea anymore.. whoever designed this thing smoked alot of crack :dontknow:

i did a lot of research into this box during my search for a standalone monome style midi sequencer that isn't bound by software, and yeah, i'm still pretty clueless as to how it works. there's a bunch of poorly recorded demos on youtube, and the equally enigmatic (read: poorly written/translated and extremely brief) manual doesn't seem to elucidate much either

if it's half as great as Tame Machine or Clockwork it's a winner.

but yeah, Flame have possibly the most confusing documentation I've ever come across. It reads like aliens stoned off their gourd were playing scrabble.
