Hi all,
This is my first post and hopefully will be an easy one to solve. I've just purchased my first sound module (E-MU Vintage Keys...based on the advice I was reading on this site!) and am having trouble getting it set up.
My MIDI controller is an M-Audio Keystation 49e. There's nothing else in the chain, just the controller into the Vintage Keys and then out through some headphones.
The problem is: the controller is acting as a monosynth for every preset. I can't get any polyphony. I've searched these forums and the rest of google for a solution but can't find it. Any ideas why this may be happening? Keep in mind I'm very new to this, so expect it's something extremely basic I've overlooked (hopefully).
Thanks in advance,
Matthew

Check the Emu's MIDI setting. You need to put it in POLY mode.

Thank you! I discovered this myself shortly after posting. The manual came through!
Thanks a lot for the quick reply!
