Replacement pot on Lexicon

Hi guys, my Lexicon has been driving me round the bend lately...got it off ebay and came in a utter state; the PSU caps were blown, leaked all over the mainboard so had to replace them and repair the damaged tracks...now the most annoying bit is the Data input knob is absolutely shot and has a mind of it's own.
Could any one care to help in pointing me in the right direction on where I can get a replacement pot for this? It's the data knob which is stepped (16 steps)
The unit is a Lexicon LXP-15 mk1 but has the 2.0 EPROM fitted

Did a fast search...found no matching parts. Your beat bet may be to open the switch and clean and renew the contacts.

Thanks, I also tried to see if I could get a similar part from Alps or Alpha but I couldn't see anything.
I opened the pot and I'm quietly confident it should be a LOT better now...cleaned it with IPA and cleaned the brushes with a fibreglass pen, didn't have time to put it back together...gona have to do that tomorrow.

All I could find is the official part numbers for encoders SW6 & SW7.
It is :
Part Number _____________ Description
452-08891 _________ SW,RTY,GRAY CODE,16 POS,PVB
Unfortunately there are no specs in the description...
Edit: I had similar problems with the encoder on my LXP-1, it was jumping values.
I sprayed a bit of deoxit in the pot without disassembling it and its performance was improved.
These early lexicon encoders are famous for failing after a few years of operation.
If you need the service manual let me know.

Yo man thanks for all your input, Service manual will be greatly appreciated.
I went into the service mode but some things in there I don't know what they mean and some tests fail.
I think it just hates me lol

The encoders jumping values are probably the main cause of the failed tests .
All info about the diagnostic tests is covered in the service manual.
