Roland Juno 6 problem !! pls help me !! env chip ?

I just bought a Juno 6 in Montreal ... All notes works but every 6 notes it seems like the envelope doesn't work ! do you guys think it could be a env chip ? if it does how can i find wich one is the failed one ? thx ... im really desperate ... i know these parts are getting harder to find .

bizzare on those notes i can still work the sustain but cant modifie the amp decay or release , but moving the sustain slider will work on them .....

I have narrowed it down to being most likely the Demux chip that works with the IR3R01 envelope chips. I checked and the sustain is still working but none of the others ADSR controls -huh same exact problem it seems like. These chips are pretty cheap if you can find them.

If you turn it off then on you can tell which voice it is -just count the first 6 notes until one doesn't sound like the others. On mine it's 3. The voice sections are labeled.

I just missed 2 Juno 6 in the last 10 days in Montreal "par la peau des fesses"... I guess I would have had this problem if I would have been able to get one!

have the same on 106 sometimes, but it's like envelopes do not work on every note

Not yet -I ordered the chip I think I need, but it's not here yet. I bought a few extras, if it turns out to be the problem I'll send you one for the $1.17 each they cost + shipping. I was just playing the 6 and it makes for some interesting patterns when 5 of the 6 voices follow the envelope and you have the arpeggio going. Kind of a lopsided spin of sorts- in a good way. I'll post when it's fixed.

Been busy -will hopefully get to it in the next few days. Got the chips but they are not the same brand -not sure if that matters as it's a common chip. I may swap one on a Roland EP-11 I have to make sure without risking damage to the Juno.

Hello, having the exact same problem. has this been solved? If you worked it out, it would be so great if you could give a little rundown how you fixed it. …. which parts you bought and how you replaced those.
