blofeld KB octave buttons

so i get my used blofeld kb and the two octave buttons are not responding. of course the seller said they were working fine shipping it. no way it could have been damaged shipping. packed like a tank! i know the blofeld has bugs and you need to upgrade the OS. i have V1.10 so i know its old and plan on updating it when i can. it might be the first OS even? will this fix the octave buttons? strange. they should work. i did speak to JEXUS a well known synth programmer and he said this....." i had the same problem when my blofeld was new
but then, after a week, the octave buttons just started working
unfortunately i hadn't notice what changed"..... so it must be a blofeld thing? i contacted waldorf today as well. hope to hear back.
any help or info ? thanks.

ok, no reply so i guess it's just a matter of seeing what the new OS will do.....not going to happen until next wed. i will relpy again to tell you what happened. thanks.

Just checking in to make sure you know that the octave buttons themselves don't light up when pressed...

OS v1.10 is old. The non-functional octave button bug is known and has been fixed in later OS versions.

thanks guys..yes, finding that out from others as well. and i know they wont light up also. too bad i have to wait until wed.

new os is in and the buttons are now working!! waldorf got back to me as well. thanks.
