electronic drum sounds

i know this is not very synth related but...what is the best drum machine for electronic drum sounds? i want to stay away from acoustic sounds if possible.

What's the best definition of the word best?

The 808 is the best at sounding like an 808, the 909 is the best at sounding like a 909, the Tempest is the best at warping between sounds and combining analogue and digital sounds, the CR-78 has the best dinky and yet massive sounds, the Monotribe is the best at making me have fun by hitting buttons and jamming on a drum machine, etc.

Pretty much every drum machine is the best at something, you need to decide which of those things is the one you want to do and then the best one for you will become obvious.
