Prophet-5 mono output only sounds in left speaker/headphone
When plugging in monitors/speakers/headphones into the P5, there is only sound from the left unit. What kind of problem is this? Has anyone encoutered it recently? Suggestions on solutions please!

I wasnt aware there's a stereo output
My P5 has a single jack out and no headphone socket

You need to use a mono jack plug instead of a stereo one. The reason is some mono outputs will connect to both the tip and the ring. Looks like the one in your P5 connects to tip only.

But it has worked before! This confuses me. I just put the headphone jack into the audio out socket and only the left headphone sounds....weird.madtheory wrote:You need to use a mono jack plug instead of a stereo one. No that's normal behavior for an output.iProg wrote:But it has worked before! This confuses me.
