Spilled wine on my Casio TB-1

I've got an old Casio TB-1 midi thru box, and I dumped a glass of wine on it. I immediately unplugged it and dried everything from the surface, however, I'm pretty sure that wine got in via the toggle switches at the top.

I don't have time at the moment, but I'm going to take it apart and see how bad it is inside before trying to fire it up again. Any suggestions on how to proceed? This little box is the central nervous system of my setup, and it has worked like a charm for years. I'd hate to have to replace it.

open it and clean/wash with alcohol (96%)
then dry it very well.

I use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) which you should be able to find at any electronics retailer... I'd recommend an aerosol can of the stuff for getting into the switches.

Thanks - I opened it up and could see that nothing hit the board itself, so if it did make it in it was only into the switches. However, the switches were closed up enough that I could really see inside them - but they're not sealed by any means. So if liquid did get in them it would have instantly dripped onto the board as well, and since the board looked clean I think I'm good.

I powered it on and it's working as expected, so hopefully that's the end of it. Lesson learned...
