Ensoniq TS10 custom transwave
I'm trying to make a sample loaded into a TS10 into a transwave. I can get the sample in and treat it as a normal sample but as far as telling the synth I want it to be a transwave, I haven't figured out. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Ensoniq TS10 custom transwave
There is a program on the web to do that. Let me look and see if I can find it.
EDIT:
Here are ready-made transwaves for sale> http://www.samplerzone.com/catalog/prod ... ucts_id=79
Here is the software I remembered - It does not used samples, but lets you draw your own waves:
http://avg.home.xs4all.nl/tranzilon/info.html
EDIT2:
Let me get out the manual. IIRC it can be done by setting a short loop and modulating the loop start and end. Never tried it myself.

Re: Ensoniq TS10 custom transwave
Thanks for your help. Okay maybe I was looking in the wrong place and this is not defined directly in the synth. The documentation for Tranzilon says:
"The transwave that is generated by Tranzilon will consist of 100 waveforms, starting with the upper-waveform, and slowely transforming into the lower-waveform. When Epsilon uploads this wavesample it will tell your EPS/ASR that it is a transwave. This way, when you play your keyboard, only one of the 100 waveforms will be heard, but by using the modulation wheel you can select each of the 100 waveforms. This is the default transwave setting done by Epsilon, but you can manually override this. You can let the selection of the waveform be based on key-velocity, envelopes, random etc. See your EPS/ASR manual for more information about this."
So there's this other program called Epsilon. I'll check that out and see if there's something in there. Let me know if you find anything else out.
EDIT: But the TS10 can't receive samples via SDS so this mystery remains unsolved.
