Editing sounds on a Yamaha PLG-150 AN board

Hi guys!

I would like to ask the PLG-150 AN owners if the board can be edited with an advanced AN1X editor ?

I know that the PLG AN comes with its own editor and also I know that there's another one I once upon a time used with my AN1X. I've sold the synth and I'm looking for the plug-in for my Motif Classic rack so I wonder if the AN1X editor would find the plug-in card in my Motif rack so that I could make some advanced editing.

Thanks for inputs! :-)

The AN1x-Edit program for Windows can edit the PLG150AN board, also the AN Expert Editor.

No Mac support, no official support past WinXP.

Ok, thanks for ansver and the programs, I've downloaded them.

Are you really sure that the AN1X expert-editor program can make a "handshake" with the plug-in board in my Motif rack bypassing the Motif engine? I feel a bit uncertain about this, there're many possibilities for connection problems between the editor and the plug-in since it's not the primary sound engine. Did you try it yourself? (I use WinXP)

I used to own a Motif ES6 with three PLG-AN boards loaded. I ran both editors on a WinXP laptop using the ES's MIDI over USB connection.

Many thanks for the reply, I guess it should work well. I also see now that there's a "PLG-150 AN set" option inside the AN1X editor.
