i just sold my MOPHO keyboard to get a MOPHO x4 (which is a great synth by the way) and the pitch bend makes a pretty loud click when released.
also the motion isn't as smooth on both wheels as on the mono version.
anyone else experience this with either the MOPHO (mono) or the MOPHOx4?
trying to weed out whether it's a faulty mechanism on mine or just a cheaper mechanism on the x4 versions in total.
anyone?
ps: i really loved the smooth/silent throw of the PW and MW on the MOPHO (mono) keyboard
MOPHO x4......clicky pitch bender...anyone else?

My MoPho kb was like yours, smooth and silent. Same with my MEK. Sounds like you have a problem with your X4, I'd send it back. Good luck.

Yeah I don't have that problem here with Mopho Kbd or Tetra (also not when I polychain them)... Sounds faulty. I'd hit DSI with an email first to see whether they have an idea what it's about...

Mopho Clicky Pitch Bender is my favorite 90s Warp artist.

Re: MOPHO x4......clicky pitch bender...anyone else?
i spoke to Carson at DSI and he was extremely helpful.
he instructed me how to remove the top panel and readjust the wheel assembly (which is super easy) and it took care of 1 of my 2 problems...the pitch bend rubbing against the panel sheet metal.
unfortunately it didn't resolve the other problem....thre loud clicking when released. i could see that the sound is comeing from the 2 springs slamming against a small rubber coated piece of metal. not sure if somethings missing from the mechanism like a pice of felt or...who knows what.
i'm gonna call DSI again after the holidays and buy a replacement wheel assembly which Carson indicated is available.
i'll update once it's installed

i'll add that moving from the Mono MOPHO to the X4 a lot of the mono patches that seemed useless suddenly make sense on the MOPHO X4. all in all, really enjoying it so far

You shouldn't have to buy replacement parts for a brand new synth. I would assume they'd send the assembly to you.chimney chop wrote:i spoke to Carson at DSI and he was extremely helpful.
