Both the Korg MS-20 Mini and the Volca Keys have MIDI ports, but they're only MIDI In. I was thinking it might be possible to connect them and have a brand new analog polysynth for only $750, but if they're both input jacks I guess it's not.
Is there a way to do this?

AFAIK the instruments don't have identical VCOs etc., so it's not going to sound like a single instrument even if you play them together.

Won't really work, as you'll be controlling both synths with one keyboard no matter what, and as none of them are polyphonic, you'll only hear one note no matter how many VCOs the synths have together.
The DSI Evolvers use a special link type connection to make them polychained, and also software that supports that.

I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

The Volca keys is 3 note polyphonic, but I don't know how you could not have the ms20 vco's just be unison with one of the Volca's vco'sBitexion wrote:Won't really work, as you'll be controlling both synths with one keyboard no matter what, and as none of them are polyphonic, you'll only hear one note no matter how many VCOs the synths have together.
