Vintage sequencer identification

Hi there

Can anyone identify the late 70's sequencer shown at 11'54" in this clip:




Resolution not good so I can't read any names on it!

No problem! It's not very common as a stand alone unit (outside of the Roland kit), but still pretty distinctive.

I watched that entire video - that was interesting. It shows David Bedford creating a song called "Song of the White Horse" about the Neolithic feature of the same name in England. There's a point where Bedford, who is using a girls choir for the singing parts, instructs one of the girls to take a deep breathe of helium before singing a part. The music builds up with upward sliding notes, a quick break, and then the music goes all crazy and several of the girls sing with the helium and they just go supersonic. It's a great effect! Nowadays, it would just be run through autotune or something...

Much surprised to see Mike Ratledge in this clip, though he was a known collaborator of Bedford and also Mike Oldfield at one time.
