Roland D10 problem.

Post by Genno » Wed Dec 04, 2013 1:17 pm

Switched on the D10. Powers up ok but no sound and the display is lit up on top line only, a full row of blank squares.
Got three gigs over the next four days so kind of urgent. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks,
Genno.

Hi. again.
IMHO, BAD news. From afar, sounds like the flash-RAM has died. This same failure and symptoms claimed about 75% of the Roland JX-305 Groovesynths ever sold. Get your money back. Or, keep an eye on the bay for a mainboard.

If by any chance you're near the SF bay area you can buy my working D-10 for $80... :)
