i love the juno 60 in what you can get out of it..what a synth.

clocking the juno tends to tie the synth up unless i overdub, but i dont really want to do that.

i would like to create sounds that counter rythm each other as say 2 x 303s would. that works well.

would you buy a further juno 60 or should i be looking at other synths to give me the same option, but
different sounds...i would need something that could be clocked.

I don't like duplication in my gear unless absolutely necessary. What about a Korg PolySix or SCI Prophet 600 for some variety?

The Junos are good synths, but it's hard to escape that "Juno sound". Long-time Juno users will know what I'm talking about.

I've been using two Junos (6 and 60) for twenty years. To be honest, it's not too exciting. For along time the 6 stood in a cupboard, but now the 60 gets less use. Either is nice on its own, but there's no real advantage to having two if you have the option of other flavours. The main reason to have two clockable arps is if you can't sync them for overdubs. Two sequences is fun, two arps limiting. One Juno and a nice mono would be a better option.
