Right guys, I have an old Arp - Quartet and a new MiniBrute and I would like to try both of them through my guitar/bass pedalboard. The board consists of your basic overdrive/fuzz/chorus/reverb/delay.. Mainly analog but the reverb is digital.
Is there any risk of damaging pedals with synths or is this just like putting my bass guitar through the board?
Also, the quartet has both 'high' and 'low' outputs, so which of these would be appropriate?
Apologies if this is a noob question! I am new to synths.
Thanks!
Can I run my synths through my pedalboard safely?

There shouldn't be any problem running synths through pedals since this has been done for decades.
I'd start with the HIGH output with your volume at 50% then increase as you see fit.

Sweet!
Ok I suspected it would be fine.
Although I would have guessed start with the 'low' output first perhaps..
I'm just being cautious as some of my effects are very rare/expensive!
Thanks again

"Back in my day", stomp boxes were about the only effects a regular musician could afford - I still use certain guitar pedals for "that" effect. I often run VST's and external audio through Guitar Rig to get that sound, and I still use a Quadraverb GT from time to time.

You lost me a little bit there max, but just as long as I'm not going to blow anything up! I'm happy
