I was just looking at this video and this dude created a killer DnB track. He said he has 2 S950s sequenced with an Akai MPC2500.
What would the process be for creating a track like this when working on the MPC2500 and then triggering the samples on the S950? I'm not too familiar with the Akai range of samplers/sequencers so any help on how they work would be great.
Cheers.

Re: Akai/MPC Sequencing
It very difficult to say exactly.. you could ask 100 different people and get 100 different answers..
He's obviously taken in his samples into the 950s and chopped/mapped them to be triggered by pads on the 2500.
You could have just used the 2500 to doo all of this but obviously the S950s have a certain "crunchy quality" to them.
The joy with working with hardware like this is not always necessarily the end result but the journey you take tweaking and manipulating things in an effort to get to a sound you want. On the way you may hit upon "happy accidents" which may end up becoming a part of "your" sound.
Get stuck in and find what works for you
