Waldorf Microwave display defect

Post by flonky » Wed Mar 04, 2015 9:46 pm

Hi,
the display of my Waldorf Microwave (Rev. B) doesn't glow/shine anymore. The display itself is working but I have to use a flashlight in order to read it.
Does anybody know how I can repair it? What do I need?
Thanks for help,
Florian

It's not uncommon for display backlights to fail over time. Whether it's an easy repair depends on what part Waldorf used for the display and whether that is still readily available. I'd start by contacting Waldorf support and see what they can tell you.

You can download the service manual here
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
