Roland D-50 loading .syx files

I am tring to reload the internal sounds into a Roland D-50. I have tried both handshake and one way modes using Midox. All I get is "Midi Communication Error". I have tried different settings in Midiox with no success. I have tried every internet solution on this with no success. Help.

It ended up being the "ebay" usb interface was not compatible with the Roland D-50. However, the D50 Librarian with another interface worked perfectly. Thank you.
