Why don´t you come to Costa Rica?
Make the gig here. I offer a place to stay on the capital at no cost, and then I could take you to a place you won´t forget.
Whale´s reproduction season happens on july.... 8-)

Hey, I'd love to go to Costa Rica! Unfortunately I have quite a lot of stuff to deal with at the moment. Concerts, an exhibition with a book release, I'm applying for school, and I need to find a job for the summer. I've been unemployed for a long time now, and don't really have the money for a vacation. But thanks for the offer!

Whale reproduction season sounds wonderful, though.

I ´m shameless scum then.. I´ve been jobless for the last 18 months, and I´m wasting the last money I have traveling through the country while being semidrunk. Knowing the place as I do, the expenses are minimum ($10 per night, $10 daily food, $1 each beer), while living on one of the most wonderful locations of the world. I sold my music there on CDs, $5 each one. Sold around 30 of them to tourists, and played on the local bar for $50 plus other activities...

When I spend the last penny, I´ll worry for getting a slavery job.

Offer is open. The place I´m talking about is the Corcovado National Park and the Drake Bay at the Pacific Coast.

Nothing scummy about that! It sounds quite nice, to be honest. I'd love to drop it all and just travel around with a camera and some sound-equipment. Norway is rather expensive, though. One beer here costs more than what you pay for a bed.

I've been unemployed since september, just came out of a two year depression in january and started just doing stuff, money or not. Been living here and there, carrying most of my stuff with me and just done stuff. This will be my sixth show this far this year, with some more upcoming, so that's nice. And I was really happy to get that exhibition. Nothing better to stave off depression and hopelessness than making s**t with your hands. I've got to bind at least fifteen more books, all by hand, during the first half of june... And I've got to make my entrance-exam assignment too. So pretty busy!

I read your other thread about Corcovado, and saw all the pictures. Seems amazing. You know what, maybe I'll think about it... I do have some "stipend" money stored away, I just need a really good excuse. Only thing I'm worried about is my a*s being yours if I ever get too drunk! If you ever wanna go to the complete opposite place, give me a pm. Up here we've got some of the more desolate nature in the world.

This thread is essentially inactive...only two posts in the last 7 years. There are a lot of spam replies being posted here, so I am locking the thread. If someone really wants to talk up a gig, please start a new thread.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
