*cough* : http://www.vintagesynth.org/phpBB2/view ... hp?t=27221

1) ?
2) Bronski Beat - Small Town Boy (you should get a DX7 for this, it does it better ;) - but this one sounds pretty good)
3) Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)
4) ?
5) Alphaville - Forever Young
6) Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough
7) (aargh, I know the song but not the artist, but you totally nailed the sound here)
8) Eurythmics - Who's That Girl
9) ?
10) ?
11) ?
12) I thought Kim Carnes - Bette Davis Eyes but no.

My 80's-fu is weak :(.

one small remark though, but that's to everyone posting synthesizer videos on YouTube - if you want to show off how wonderful they sound, don't ruin everything by using your camera's microphone but record the audio track separately and combine everything using VirtualDub or Windows Movie Maker or something. Nobody'll care if it's a little out of sync since YouTube out-of-syncs pretty good by itself.

Mr Crazy, I'm going to have to ask you to post these videos in the Listening Lounge in future.

Cheers

you are a strange young man but you are from the UK so i guess that explains a lot.

LOL. I was gonna say the recording of that came out pretty lo-fi. It's kinda ironic that you got all those synths but you can't record a decent video..OMG LOL! I'm just messing with you.

That's because he probably used the search function. I prefer the recycling of old threads to newer ones anyway. There's usually some good bits of info on there you don't always get with newer threads.

I actually watched it a few times while waiting for my Juno-60 to get here to replace the faulty 106 this past December. I liked the fact that recognizable songs were used.
