I got featured on youtube main page... 2 million views

So I got asked to do "viral" marketing for a company on youtube...

I followed the Ancient formula:

808+Synth+Kitties+Rap+Animation = success

I got featured last week on the main page! 2 million views... I am going to go straight to h**l for this one:

Here are a couple more:

Don't hate me... I just did what I knew would work.

Not much synth on those tracks, lots of 808 kick and jomox kick. I will be sneaking in as much vintage synth stuff as I can from now on.

What do you think?

how much they pay you to do it is really what it comes down to. . the more money the more likely to end up in h**l

Awesome. My wife showed me the pug one last week. I had no idea it came from someone in the synth community. Pretty cool in my book. I put up a post on Matrixsynth as well.

No way! I'm almost more excited to be on the matrix blog! :D

Tell your wife there are many more freaky animal songs to come...

I used an ATC-X for the occasional synth stab (I am so in love with the ATC-X I swear its the best value mono on the market) it does it all for me. Dreamy overdrive, R2D2 sounds from the arp 2600 filter, lush stringy sounds from the OB filter etc.

I work in Ableton, too bad I don't know how to mix or master at all, so the tracks sound a little quiet straight out of Live. Luckily an ex keyboardist for Thomas Dolby lives in my small rural town! I had him master the tracks to be sold on myspace/itunes. I let him play with the atc-x and he was blown away (pretty good considering he played every synth back in the day)

I am working on a killer electro halloween song for this upcoming october, lots of analog vocoder and spooky sine wave leads. There will be a freaky animal band playing vintage analogs... P5 Ms-20 etc.

Thanks for watching!
