Cool-I have been out of the Hip Hop scene for some time now but some of it reminds me a little of Deltron 3030...curious why you didnt use more hi hats to make it flow....but thats probably the sound these days?
Decent lyrics tho-nice one :)

Not a big fan of hi-hats anymore... didn't realize they don't flow because of it. That's the sound these days? I'm not sure of that...but El-P has been doing that for a long time. hmmm...they aren't perfect, but I like them better than most I have done. thanks for listening SWAN.

What the deuce...they all sounded the same, especially the drums. I was curious when SWAN mentioned Deltron. Some of the sounds reminded me of DJ Quik.

This is good stuff JS, clearly a lot of work has gone into these tracks.

I think I agree about the hats though, your flow is good (to my non-rap-oriented ears), but I think a few well placed hats would emphasise the cleverness of the rhythms.

One other thought - when I hear these tracks, I wonder what would happen if the vocal tracks were treated like they had parameter locks attached to them, i.e., some FX like distortion, delay, panning on the vocals, but not the set and forget kind... I dunno. Think the hiphop tracks of Funkstoring's Disconnected, but less extreme....
Just an idea.

Hey I heard Flame on Charged particles.

Dudeee,, yo. I'm no rap/hiphop fan but this brings one sentence on my mind:
"half shark-alligator man" Who was it?

I'm starting to like hiphop now, listening your tracks. Really. These are very good.

Hehe :)
Security Breach's start sounds just like Snoop.
You did that lead pretty accurately. But this sounds better.

Hey JS,

I like them all, some very intresting sounds in them too. Could use some rump shaking high hats here and there I think too. Not that big of a deal though. Bottlerockets my Fav.

Wow, thanks... way to take someone's hard work and reduce it to c**p. I guess everyone, when using electronics, expects everything to sound completely, 100% different from the next...that's just not my thing.

Thanks for listening... hi-hats... hmmm... my new tracks I'm working on have even less hi-hats. Oh well...that's just my thing at the moment. I'm always going to be quirky...

Yeah, I've thought about it for choruses...well, when I use a chorus, but for my verses, I want you to actually listen to my words. That said, I will learn a bit of automation in Logic and try to use that...eventually.
