Electronic Music Recomendations?

Post by Ezzo » Wed Nov 28, 2007 6:53 am

Ok, so I love rock and roll. Always have always will. I enjoy electronic music too. But its mainly stuff like Kraftwerk, Neu!, old wendy carlos... stuff like that. Anyway, after reading many good reviews I picked up the newest Justice album and I have really been enjoying it. Can anybody recomend something with a similar sound? I really like the fact that it has high production values, it's a little on the darker side soundwise without crossing over into that cheazy hard techno sound, it still has a bit of bounce to it. But not sappy or too poppy. Anyway, I'm sure Justice didn't emerge out of a vacuum, there must be people with a similar sound out there...right?

I don't know why Justice is getting all the hype. They are good but Sebastian (he's on the same label) is much much better.

Sebastian's Killing In The Name Of Remix is insane. Also from Sebastian- Ross Ross Ross and Smoking Kills are both fantastic records.

Mr. Oizo is now also part of Ed banger. Check out his Analog Worms Attack CD. If you enjoy Analog Worms you might like his Moustache CD (very different from Worms but its great).

Justice, Sebastian, Mr. Oizo... I'm surprised French electro is so popular right now.
