After listening to the super awesome Technasia track Force, I was compelled to make some honest to god Detroit Techno. This track was done live straight of my Korg EMX-1, as usual. Recorded straight into Soundforge, and brought you fresh off the market.

nice work, a good use of the EMX bass and chord there
I also like the overall drums sound.

That's a damned good first attempt at techno. You've got the feel of it alright.
What you need though for a track of that length, is a good old breakdown mid-way through. You know the sort of thing -- get to a point (128 bars?) where you bring it down to just a simple kick and bass (or lead). Then slowly build it up, bringing in more and more elements, until the whole track screams.
That's my only suggestion. Not bad at all.

Yea That is a good idea, If I had more gear I would have done it. I only have my JP8000 and EMX-1 right now, and since I wanted to get all the timing right on the EMX-1, thats all I used for this live session. But yes I do want to expand on this track, or make another one that is more fleshed out.
If only I had my S-950 with me right now, Id be in sampled chord heaven.
