ehm, no idea what genere to put this in, but to me, this is DNB'ish more than jungle-ish...

oh, and it's only a preview btw, I'm working on putting together a whole track, but I'm too progressive when I'm trying to make more parts, so now I have material for some 3 very different tracks all using a lot of the sounds (but not the melodies) of the others...

It's the first track "Origo"

yeah it's not a whole track yet, but I'm rather pleased with using breakbeat loops loaded to my esx, then chopped up and re-sampled for that strange jungle feel:)
it's all ESX (drums/samples) and MC808 (strings and polyphonic stuff)

I can't read s**t on your site, is that backwards latin english translation or something? Heh, I did figure out how to get it play. Sounded pretty DnB, bit jungly, and some reggaeish too.

Can't say much synthy stuff goin on, but you got it mixed down and sequenced well, and breaks and transitions seem to hit their marks. Vocals I didn't understand but seem like maybe jamiacan guy singing it was alright at it too.

Seem like it'd fit in well with other stuff that'd be like it, say like on a mix CD, or DnB/Jungle/Break nite to chill to at the club or going to the club, or on the way home after, or once I got home and still in a jammin mood. Hope ya know what I mean? :D

haha, no it's called "Norwegian", and is the language my natives speak ;)
the site is the kinda norwegian equivalent to myspace, and I keep putting demos and whatnot there since they allow me to upload as much as I want, as opposed to myspace's 6 song maximum restrictions..

I figured the track is crowded enough as it is, so as for now, it will reamin without a stand-out lead or melody.. I think I know what you mean, and that's the feel I was after: that strange track with no melody and unusual chords :) Ideally, I'd have a part where some huge africal lady would sing her soul out, drenched in reverbs. like the DJ Shadow does on the "endtroducing.." cd. that album is just so well made, and everything fits in so nicely even tho each sound on its own sounds just strange.. :)
you know what I mean? ;)

anyway, thanx :)
