i suggest you try Klaus Doldinger & Passport, jazzy chords, plenty of Rhodes, Minimoog, Mellotron etc.
The Passport albums are worth tracking down and buying. I own quite a few myself and are played quite often.

My guess is you're looking for something like the Deep House genre (located in the Funk section of House), but if I'm wrong, poke around there and maybe you'll find it - as well as other things you might dig
The only thing is the guide is a couple of years old, so it's not quite up to date with the newest styles, but otherwise it's awesome.
